We handle all the legwork for you on this tour. Flights, accommodations, reservations, tickets - let us take care of the boring stuff so all you have to do is show up ready to have fun!

We know there are many doll and toy lovers out there who want the experience of traveling to Japan but haven't been able to make it happen themselves. We get it! International travel is intimidating, and it's difficult just to know where to start, especially if you're going alone. That’s why we created The Doll Tour.

Our goal is not just to bring you to Japan, but to make it a seamless stress-free experience from the moment you contact us till you get back home after our trip to Japan - with a heart full of lifelong memories and new friends, and a suitcase full of new dolls!

The Doll Tour is a guided doll and toy focused shopping tour of Tokyo, taking place from March 5th-13th, consisting of eight to twelve fellow doll lover participants.

The cost is $3000, which includes the following:

  • A one week doll and toy focused tour in Tokyo, including iDoll convention on March 7th.

  • Two full-time tour guides for the whole trip

  • A private hotel room

  • All transportation while in Tokyo (public transit, taxis to and from the airport, courier service)

  • No-stress vacation: We book and manage all flights, hotels, appointments, and event tickets.

  • Full planning services to arrange any additional experiences you'd like to have while you're in Japan

  • ...Plus some special surprises we can't wait to show you ;)

If you just can't get enough dolls and are a Volks fan, we will also offer an optional add-on tour of Kyoto, including a visit to Volks' legendary headquarters, Tenshi no Sato. The Kyoto tour will take place after the end of the Tokyo tour, from March 13th-15th, and an additional cost of $1500 will apply.

Please note, this price does not include your flight or food while on the trip. Since tour participants will be traveling from all over the globe, we decided it would be more fair for the cost of the flight to be charged separately. We will still handle all the booking and flight details for you.

Rather than a one size fits all cookie-cutter tour, The Doll Tour is curated to the desires of the group.

For example, if no one on the tour is interested in Blythe, then we can substitute going to Junie Moon in favor of a shop or activity more people on the tour have an interest in.

For safety reasons, the itinerary will be kept private and only shared with tour participants. But we can share a list of just some of the stops on the tour:

The tour will also include one “free day” where instead of scheduled group activities, you will be free to pursue your own interests (with help from us of course). Have you always dreamed of visiting the legendarily magical Tokyo Disney? We can organize your tickets for you. Want to see independent art doll exhibits? We’ll research and find what exhibitions are running. Want to take a day trip out of Tokyo? We’ll recommend activities and even get you on the right train.

Ok, so you want to go to Japan with us - Here’s what’s next:

To secure your spot on the tour, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required. The remainder of the payment($2500) can be paid off in installments. Full payment must be received at least 30 days before the trip.

Once you have secured your spot on the tour, we will schedule a get-to-know-you zoom chat with Lanie and Bianca, where we will learn about what the perfect tour looks like for you, talk about your favorite dolls, and what accommodations you need for travel. The Doll Tour is neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and celiac friendly! We take your comfort seriously, and will work with you before the tour to discuss your personal needs and set up a personalized comfort plan for you, as well as checking in during the tour to accommodate any changing needs as they arise.
