Meet Lanie
I'm Lanie, and doll collecting has been part of my life for well over a decade. It is my north star, it permeates every facet of my life, and I am so excited to share this love with you all on the Doll Tour. Over the last fifteen years, I've traveled to nearly two dozen countries, always accompanied by a doll. Taking photos of my dolls around the world has been a great souvenir and a way to take my hobby even further.
A few years ago, I had the privilege of sharing some of my travel photos with Mr. Shigeta, the father of Super Dollfies. It meant the world to me how touched he was by the photos and how I gave such life to my dolls.
I am so very lucky to have a hobby that has shaped so much of who I am, and I jumped at this opportunity to share this experience with like-minded people. With several years' of professional experience booking travel, scheduling, and managing events, I cannot wait to help you and your dolls see the world!
Meet Bianca
I'm Bianca, and I've been obsessed with ball-jointed dolls for over 20 years, as a collector and a face-up artist. My first visit to Japan was so fulfilling, especially for my love of dolls, that I wanted to bring this experience to the American BJD community.
As a neurodivergent person(AuDHD) I recognize the unique challenges that come with traveling. My approach to planning involves a getting-to-know-you process where I learn about your unique needs, desires, and what makes you comfortable, to meticulously plan how to help you have a successful and stress-free travel experience. I have considerable professional experience in logistics, management, research, and customer service to help deliver you a seamless and engaging international trip.
